Dads Landing Pad Inc is a community based organisation which helps single parents, grandparents, and extended family members in relation to Family Court matters.
our aim
- To promote the importance of families for children, eg. mums, dads, grandparents and other extended family members during and post separation to men, woman and the community at large.
- To promote the essential role parents/grandparents play in raising their children while breaking down gender stereotypes in relation to such roles to men, women and the wider community.
- To develop and empower parents/grandparents with information to increase their understanding in their role, responsibilities and obligations in relation to their children and families.
- To value and encourage the individual talents of parents/grandparents while encouraging them to use these as source of strength within the family context.
- To create awareness in parents/grandparents regarding other community support services that are available to them, their relevance and ways of accessing such services.
- To provide a non-judgemental, dignifying and less isolating support network for parents/parents within a non-violent environment conductive to positive interactions and mateship.
- To support and provide relevant assistance to all families regardless of their race, age, beliefs, creed, gender or physical distance.
